The
Power of Prayers
From the beginning of time, the Egyptians believed that the soul of the human being is immortal and that it incarnates in different forms in water, upon earth and in air, prior to its incarnation in a human body. Then it should continue on a spiritual involution to become one with the perfected souls of the Sun. In modern times, there is a lot of confusion about how to pray. You can pray anywhere and at any time to the Lord, almighty God, Emen-Raa, but it is more effective to conduct a ceremonial prayer, which will be acknowledged by heaven, earth and what is in between and beyond, the Dwat(netherworld). This book explains how to conduct prayers properly, expounding the tools that can be used to enhance one's prayer. It also explains the use of ritual aids, in the form of oils, metals, stones, incense, candles and amulets and includes some original Egyptian prayers, with their transliteration and translation.

Egyptian Rituals
Rituals are an integral part of our daily life, whether we are aware of it or not. When we wake up in the morning, we perform certain activities in a specific order and, before we go to sleep at night, we perform other activities in a specific order. These common behavioural patterns are rituals. They might not be meaningful but they carry the essence of a ritual. The ancient Egyptian religion was highly ritualistic, involving daily ceremonial activities and rituals, which were of a highly evolved spiritual nature. Some of them were only imparted to the inner circle of initiates, while some were also revealed to non-initiates. This book describes the four principal types of ancient Egyptian rituals: initiation, temple rituals, festivals and funerary rituals, in addition to explaining the use of ritual aids, such as stones, metals, oils, incense, candles and the Wands of Heru (Horus). |

The Triads of the Immortals of Egypt
The word 'triad' is derived from the Latin word 'triadis', meaning a group or set of three connected people or things. In Egyptian, it is called Xemet, meaning a group of three. In the ancient Egyptian religion, the concept of a divine family consisted of three members: a father, mother and child. Most Egyptian temples had both a Paut (Ennead or group of nine natural laws) and a triad. This book summarises the eleven most famous triads of the Immortals of ancient Egypt and their members, including the triads of Elephantine, Memphis, Thebes, Kom Ombo, Latopolis, Edfu, Dendera, Crocodilopolis, Mendes, Heliopolis and Abydos. |

Dwat
A Detailed Guide to the Afterlife
The kingdom of the Dwat (netherworld) is the ectypal world, or the world of laws and shadows, and the domain of the intermediate life of the soul in its journey through to heaven. It exists at night but is invisible to us and it is described in the Book of Em-Dwat ('The Book of what is in the Dwat') as a circular valley, surrounded by mountains. One chain of these mountains separates the valley of the Dwat from earth and the other separates it from heaven. This book describes and illustrates the twelve divisions of the Dwat, each of which represents one hour of the night. |

The Ancient Egyptian Mathematics
The ancient Egyptian mathematics, Seqednu, studies two major phenomena: multitude and magnitude. Multitude is divided into two major subjects: arithmetic, or the relationship of the part to itself; and music, which is the relationship of one part to other parts. Magnitude is also divided into three major subjects: geometry of Surfaces; geometry of Solids or stereometry, which is the process of calculating the surface area and the volume of solids; and astrology, which studies the influence of the stars of heaven upon earth. Mathematics, therefore, is the science which has five major sciences within itself. This book provides an introduction to the five divisions of Mathematics, including examples from the papyrus texts of ancient Egypt. |

The Hieroglyph of the Soul: The Ancient Egyptian Astrology
The history of astrology, or the science of the stars, has existed since the emergence of mankind. Tehuty, known by the Greeks as Hermes, founded the science, describing the stars as the seed ground of all souls, which rule man's destiny. The ancient Greeks and Romans acknowledged that the origin of astrology was Egyptian. Heaven was considered as a wall, and the stars as words written on it. The fixed stars (36 dekans) were considered to be the consonants and the wandering stars (planets) to be the vowels. When read properly, they foretell future events. In this book, Dr. Ramses Seleem explains the three systems of astrology used by the ancient Egyptians and their oracular means of perceiving the knowledge of heaven upon earth, the medical astrology of ancient Egypt, the Egyptian calendar, the astrological signs, their meanings and qualities, the aspects and influences of the ruling stars and how to build an astrological chart. |

Ancient Egyptian Classics, Volume One
In remote times, at the dawn of creation, Tehuty, the Thrice Great, Tehuty Aau Xemet Ur, wrote 36,525 books, which included all that was, all that is and all that will be. The books were written on emerald tablets and contained sound octaves and, therefore, anyone who approached them in an unclean physical, mental or spiritual condition, would die instantly. The priests and scribes of ancient Egypt transcribed portions of different subjects from the books of Tehuty. These minor books were written on stelas, Udu, which are memorial stones, usually made out of limestone, and in papyrus books, Udamaau, thereby creating a collective body of the ancient Egyptian knowledge, Demdut Qemmi. The original Egyptian papyrus texts and stelas include physical, spiritual, psychological and mental knowledge, some of which is expressed through tales and stories. Ancient Egyptian Classics, Volume One includes translations and transcriptions of 17 original stelas and papyrus books of ancient Egypt, together with A3 colour illustrations of the stelas.

The
Ancient Egyptian Natural Medicine
“An
authoritative and unique guide to the fascinating therapeutic system
of ancient Egypt … which offers the reader a practical understanding
of what Egypt can teach us about caring for well-being of body,
mind and spirit.” Homer wrote: ‘In Egypt the men
are more skilled in medicine than any of human kind’. Herodotus
reported that the people of Egypt were the healthiest he had ever
seen. Modern medicine seeks to create harmony and balance out of
a state of disharmony and imbalance. The aim of the ancient Egyptian
science of medicine was to maintain balance and harmony in the human
body during this lifetime and beyond. Dr. Seleem’s ‘The
Ancient Egyptian Natural Medicine’ contains material never
published before and is divided into three sections: Foundation,
Diagnosis and Healing Arts. Through this book, the reader will discover
what the ancient Egyptians taught and practised to obtain happiness,
good health and longevity, which are of so much concern to all of
us today. This is a new hardback edition, containing additional material on diagnosis through the eyes and the use of medical astrology in diagnosis, including diet and specific exercises relevant to each astrological sign. It also includes a detailed glossary of terms used in the book. |

Egyptian Herbology
The ancient Egyptians were very advanced in the diagnosis and treatment of various illnesses and their medical techniques were quite extraordinary. Thanks to the Egyptians' diligent record keeping, scholars have been able to translate information from papyrus books such as the Edwin Smith Papyrus, the Kahun Papyrus and the Ebers Papyrus to learn the extent of their knowledge of anatomy, disease, hygiene and healing. Herbs are mentioned in Egyptian medical papyri, depicted in tomb illustrations and, on rare occasions, found in medical jars containing trace amounts of herbs. This book explains the basis of the ancient Egyptian principles of herbology and documents the names, properties and uses of one hundred herbs. It is an invaluable guide to the subject and contains descriptions and full-colour images of these herbs. |

The Egyptian Paut (Enneagram)
The Pyramid Texts mention three groups of laws or principles, each of which was composed of nine or more laws. These three groups were collectively called Paut Netru, ‘the company of laws’, and were comprised of the Pauts of Heaven, Earth and the Dwat. This book introduces the different characteristics of the natural laws embodied in the Pauts, focusing particularly on those of the Paut of Heaven. Known today as the Enneagram, this incorporates specific personality types that are still applicable to humanity today and also relates to a myriad of other aspects of the universe, including the planets, the astrological signs, colours, stones, the glandular system, mathematics and the language of ancient Egypt, the Medut-Netru. |

The
Egyptian Book of Life (New Edition)
(A True Translation of The Egyptian Book of the Dead)
“A
True Translation of the Papyrus of Enhai, the Papyrus of Hunefer
and extracts from the entire Book of the Dead, with original texts,
vocabulary and plates.” The Egyptian
‘Book of Life’, often mistakenly described as the ‘Book
of the Dead’, is the only living record of the twofold mystery
of life and death. The ancient Egyptians believed that the soul
travels from the realm of Ta (earth) to the realm of Dwat (netherworld),
and finally to the spiritual realm of Nut (heaven), either to be
born again or to become one with the perfected souls who are not
subject to the laws of reincarnation. Translating ancient texts
never fully transcribed before, Dr. Seleem offers a new approach
to the religious doctrines of ancient Egypt, demonstrating their
continuing vitality and relevance to life today. |
